Moon Moon Sen is an Indian actress and politician who served as a Member of Parliament representing Asansol, West Bengal. Known for her career in Indian cinema before entering politics, she is a member of the Trinamool Congress and comes from a prominent Bengali film family.
Daughter of legendary Bengali actress Suchitra Sen and Dibanath Sen, Moon Moon Sen was educated at Loreto College and Visva-Bharati University. She initially worked as a teacher before pursuing an acting career. Her marriage to Bharat Dev Varma, from the royal family of Tripura, further connected her to Indian aristocracy.
